Whilst studying for his Post-graduate degree, into Stereoscopic 3D Presentation Systems, at City University under the tutoridge of Dr Peter Walsh, David Burder, BSc, FRPS, led a series of Adult Education classes entitled "The 3D Experience - Photography and beyond".
This series of hands-on lectures ran for three years, from 1992 to 1994, and sought to encourage enthusiastic photographers to tread the waters of 3D Stereoscopic Photography. Many of today's leading 3D enthusiasts first cut their 3D teeth on these classes.
These classes were developed from lectures entitled "The 3D Experience - Holography and Beyond" - previously given to post graduate holography students at The Royal College of Art, in Kensington Gore.
His presentation "The 3D Experience" won him fellowship of The Royal Photographic Society.
As part of his 25 years of international 3D presentations and lectures, David Burder developed the theme, culminating in 2002, with a sell out 3D projection evening "The 3D Experience in Victorian Times" at Tate Gallery based on Victorian images.
Today, David Burder FRPS, still lectures widely on the subject, appearing on Television and Radio whenever the subject of 3D hits the headlines.
His company, 3-D Images Ltd, celebrates 20 years of being in the forefront of 3D technology and as a respected 3D service provider.
With both UK and USA patents granted in the fields of Medical and commercial 3D systems, David Burder continues to share his knowledge for the benefit of future generations of 3D.
